Rachel is the owner of Mentz Law, P.C., a law firm based in Boulder, Colorado, that helps businesses and individuals resolve disputes in and out of court. She is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of the State of Colorado as well as the federal Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits. Rachel litigates cases throughout Colorado. In addition to her Boulder location, Rachel has office-share arrangements and can meet with clients in Cherry Creek, Lakewood, and the Denver Tech Center.
Rachel has over a decade of experience litigating numerous types of commercial disputes, including, breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, breach of non-compete and confidentiality agreements, employment disputes, breach of LLC agreements and management agreements, tortious interference with contract, clawback actions, breach of fiduciary duties, and fraud.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boulder County Bar Association and is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association, and Colorado Women's Bar Association.
In addition to representing clients through all stages of commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation, Rachel also provides e-discovery consulting services to other lawyers and law firms looking to employ a sophisticated and cost-effective approach to e-discovery.
A native of Michigan, Rachel also lived in France, Spain, Louisiana, and New Hampshire before making Colorado her home in 2007. Rachel lives with her family in Boulder, where she is an avid trail runner and Rocky Mountain organic gardener.
Prior to starting Mentz Law, P.C., Rachel practiced complex, commercial litigation, working extensively on trials, arbitrations, and eDiscovery issues, in a large, national law firm. By starting her own firm in Boulder, Colorado, Rachel is able to offer clients high-quality legal service at a great value.​
